Additional Terms and Conditions for BooKQuet 

Kural Consulting’s offerings include Industry-specific B2B Web applications with a Mobile extension (E.g. BooKQuet) and other Enterprise grade applications and are governed by the following terms and conditions.

  1. Payment can be made through online transfer (RTGS/NEFT) or through Dr/Cr cards.
  2. If you are a new customer, you are required to do a customer registration and do a Product purchase/subscription through the customer portal by making the payment of the appropriate amount.
  3.  On doing a customer registration, Product purchase/subscription and on making the payment, the same will be approved and the customer will be provided an access/download link for the application.
  4. BooKQuet – the Web application with a mobile extension is hosted on the cloud and is used for managing the inventory of books by bookstore owners and other users, either with ISBN Bar code or QR code or a custom code. The application has a functionality for generating a QR code for books without an ISBN registration.

4.1. Inventory can be in storage locations that can be defined by the user.

4.2. The application also helps to manage the sale of the books with the billing and checkout modules. For India users, payment against the sale invoice can be routed to the user’s UPI linked-bank accounts through scan of the UPI QR codes which can be displayed as a static image on the desktop or handheld screen.

4.3. Payment routed through the UPI code is as per terms and conditions of the relevant UPI service provider. The application does not process the payment.

4.4. The app helps the book store owners and other users to maintain and track online, the inventory, stock movements, sales and other operations of the books through data hosted on cloud.

4.5. By agreeing to purchase and use the application, the customer/user agrees to his books related data and operations to be stored online with the hosting service provider, chosen by the application provider.

4. 6. The user agrees to the app accessing the device’s camera for the purpose of scanning the Bar codes and QR codes on books and storage locations.

4. 7. The user agrees to the app accessing the stored images of Bar Codes and QR codes in the device for the purpose of processing the data regarding the Books and the storage locations.

4. 8. If the user agrees, the user can use the functionality provided by the app to share the billing invoice through WhatsApp to the customer/s whose contacts may or may not be stored in the device.

4.9.   While the best care has been taken to ensure that application processes the transactions following all safety and best coding practices, Kural Consulting takes no responsibility for any losses, damages incurred by the customer/user.

4.10.  The data submitted by the users for creation of the accounts including the documents submitted will be treated with confidentiality and will not be shared with other users without the relevant customer’s/user’s concurrence, excepting in circumstances that are required by law and law enforcement agencies.

4.11. The application, the idea, the concept, the design and the operational elements contained in the application are the exclusive property of the owners -viz. Kural Consulting and any attempt to replicate, copy or plagiarise the idea of the application or any of it’s elements will invite appropriate legal action.

4.12. The owners of the application – viz. Kural Consulting – are not in any way responsible for any loss incurred by any of the merchants, users, buyers and other persons and entities who come into contact with the application or the services provided by the application.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Accounts of those violating the terms and conditions and misusing the application will be terminated; data will be     made unavailable and money remaining in the accounts will be forfeited. The account and transaction data may be retained for a limited period at the discretion of Kural Consulting, for access by the user entity, if the user entity may wish to reactivate the account or as required by law.
  2. Subscription plans, once purchased cannot be cancelled during the plan period and application will be unavailable beyond the periods for which the customer has subscribed.
  3. The customer’s transaction data can be deleted, if so requested by the customer and cannot be made available subsequently.  

Refund Policy:

  1. Money once paid shall not be refunded – whether towards initial purchase of the application products Or towards user licences Or any other charges.
